Fields

Selected as the Artist in Residency for “Arts Gone Wild”, a micro residency sponsored by Coastal Mountains Landtrust and Waterfall Arts, Bo and his team debuted “Fields”, a floral installation on the Stover and Head of Tide Preserves July 19- July 21. Using a textural design style, farm grown florals, and sustainably foraged elements, these ephemeral installations blended the seasonal July flower fields with the wooded trails and river banks of the preserves. Installations used fresh florals and sculptures were on view through a weekend. Members of the public explored floral stepping stones in shallow water and towering floral pillars. To honor a sustainable relationship with the land, these were no-waste designs built with chicken wire, reusable vessels, and river stones as key mechanics.
