Meet Bo

Bo Dennis (he/him) is the lead designer at Dandy Ram Farm, a flower farm and floral design studio in rural Maine. Using florals as his medium, his work depicts the beauty, joy, and sometimes heartbreak of rural queer living. His work is inspired by his experience as a trans gay man farming in rural Maine. His artistic process is largely seasonal, designing with a mix of fresh, foraged, and dried florals. Creations always use sustainable floristry skills for minimal waste and in some cases are left to become part of the natural landscape after installation. In addition to solo work, Dennis collaborates with other queer artists on various projects in line with his goal of trans representation and liberation. Due to the scale of floral installations, Dennis’ larger scale work would not be possible without an incredible team of assisting designers.
